Event Date:  Saturday September 24, 2011  9:00am

Thanks to everyone who helped make last year a successful benefit event!   It was a great crisp morning with plenty of enthusiastic runners and walkers.   Your proceeds and over 300 pairs of shoes donated went to the Muncie Mission and A Better Way.   We hope to see you all again this year.  Thank you and God Bless you all.   Rod

Purpose of the Race:

Soles to Souls event is a non-profit ministry of In Christ Community Church and Muncie Nissan.

We are collecting new and gently used shoes and money for Muncie Mission and A Better Way, two faith-based non-profit organizations that will use the shoes and proceeds to help the less fortunate and support their homeless shelter programs.

Description of Race:

Soles to Souls walk & run starts and ends at Muncie's Westside Park, located near 2600 West White River Blvd, Muncie, IN.  The scenic, well shaded, and paved course heads east down White River Blvd to Tuhey Park, and then returns along the beautiful White River Greenway to Westside Park.  The 10K run will continue on west down the Greenway and loop back to Westside Park.

An event for everyone...  making a difference one pair at a time.

Registration:

Registration for this race is unique, as it includes an option to donate new and gently used shoes to cover part of the registration fee.  We hope to trigger the interest of students, athletes, churches, and others in saving and donating their new or gently used shoes for this important cause.  See Registration Page for details.  Race T-shirts provided to those pre-registering and volunteers.
